Terry Jastrow has been a prominent figure in the world of entertainment and sports for the past three decades. As a producer, director, screenwriter, playwright, theatrical director, and acting teacher, he has made significant contributions to the industry.
Throughout his career, Jastrow has received numerous accolades, including seven Emmy Awards and 17 nominations. He began his career at ABC Sports at the age of 21 and went on to serve as a producer and director for 24 years. In addition to his work in sports, Jastrow has also produced several prime-time specials for ABC TV, including the Haute Couture Paris Fashion Collections and the Carnival in Rio. He has also developed and produced several feature films, including Waltz Across Texas and Good Luck, Mr. Anthony.
Jastrow has been recognized for his contributions to the industry, including being nominated for the Directors Guild of America Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also been honored with the Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Citizen Award and is married to actress Anne Archer.
In his personal life, Jastrow has been an acting student of Lee Strasberg at the Theater Institute and the Actor's Studio for seven years, as well as studying acting with Milton Katselas at the Beverly Hills Playhouse for 15 years. He has acted in numerous feature films and episodes of television series, as well as plays in both New York City and Los Angeles.
