Ted Crisell, affectionately known to friends worldwide as THEO, is a former child actor who grew up in the vibrant city of Hollywood. Born into a talented family, his mother showcased her skills in playing the violin, singing, and dancing. THEO's early years were marked by private acting, dance, and singing lessons, which he began at the tender age of seven.
As he matured, THEO's career flourished, with numerous film and television appearances alongside esteemed actors such as John Wayne, Walter Brennan, Donna Reid, Lucille Ball, Ernie Kovacs, Richard Carlson, Broderick Crawford, and many more. Later in his career, he shared the screen with Whoopi Goldberg, Rodney Dangerfield, and recently, with Dustin Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix, and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
As an adult, THEO discovered that he was no longer able to secure the character parts he desired, leading him to explore new creative avenues. He began producing, directing, and writing his own films and webisodes.
In recent years, THEO has acted in and produced a range of films, including the horror movies TRAPPED, GIRLS ON A BOAT, and DEMONS, as well as the comedy feature film WOMEN and two critically acclaimed shorts, UNCLE ZORBA and DINNER WITH THE DONS, which are set to be developed into feature-length films.
Over the past two years, THEO has appeared in an impressive 100+ film projects, taking on various characters and collaborating with Funny Or Die on four separate occasions.
In addition to his acting endeavors, THEO continues to produce web series through his three production companies, CGP, Crisell Global Productions, Crisell World Vortex, and Crisell TV.
