Thomas Hanzon, a renowned Swedish actor, was born on July 20, 1962, in the vibrant city of Stockholm, located in the Stockholm County of Sweden. Prior to pursuing a career in acting, Hanzon had a successful stint as a professional football player.
In the early years of his acting career, Hanzon co-founded a theatre group called Theather Camelont, which was based in Stockholm and active until 1985. The group was mentored by the accomplished actor Allan Edwall, who played a significant role in Hanzon's development as an artist.
Hanzon made his stage debut in the show "Arnold" at the Stockholm House of Culture & City Theatre. He subsequently joined the esteemed Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1989, where he appeared in the play "Dangerous Liaisons" and has remained a part of the theatre company ever since. During his time at the theatre, Hanzon has had the privilege of working with renowned directors such as Ingmar Bergman, Arthur Miller, Michael Thalheimer, and Lars Norén.
