Thomas Lang has collaborated with a diverse array of renowned musicians, encompassing a vast spectrum of styles and genres, including Austrian rock band Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung, the late Austrian pop star Falco, British rock legend Peter Gabriel, American guitarist Paul Gilbert, British singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw, iconic progressive rock band Asia, Italian singer-songwriter Gianna Nannini, Italian pop-rock band Papermoon, British pop group Sugababes, British pop sensation Robbie Williams, and Welsh singer-songwriter Bonnie Tyler, among many others.
Noteworthy within the sphere of jazz music, Lang has had the privilege of collaborating with the esteemed Vienna Art Orchestra, as well as the ensembles of renowned musicians Wolfgang Schalk and Stella Jones. These impressive credentials have garnered him an invitation to audition for the highly acclaimed band Dream Theater, as one of a select group of seven drummers, in October 2010, following the departure of the legendary Mike Portnoy.

Prior to this partnership, he had previously played for the German company Sonor. Notably, Lang has also collaborated with Meinl Cymbals to develop his own signature cymbal series.
