As his career progressed, he landed the iconic role of Peter Beale in the long-running and popular soap opera, EastEnders, taking over the part from James Martin. Thomas held this esteemed position for a period of four years, from 2006 to 2010, before deciding to leave the role to focus on other projects.
His last appearance on the show was on Christmas Eve in 2010, bringing an end to his remarkable tenure as Peter Beale. Shortly after departing EastEnders, Thomas Law took on the title role in a pantomime production of Peter Pan in Manchester.
