Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Tom later relocated to New York City to pursue his artistic ambitions, enrolling at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, a renowned institution within New York University.
During his time at Tisch, Tom had the privilege of studying at the Stella Adler Studio, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in addition to honing his craft at the Experimental Theatre Wing and the International Theatre Workshop, which is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Furthermore, Tom expanded his theatrical knowledge and skills by participating in a study program in London, at the esteemed British American Drama Academy.
Upon completing his academic pursuits, Tom went on to serve as an apprentice under the guidance of Master Teacher Alice Saltzman at the Stella Adler Studios, specifically within the scene study department.
Notably, Tom also spent two years working on the Riker's Island outreach program, which was facilitated by the Stella Adler Studio, allowing him to make a positive impact on the community while further developing his artistic abilities.
