Tiffany is a multifaceted actor, producer, and director with a passion for amplifying the voices and experiences of the Deaf and CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) community, who are often marginalized and overlooked by the hearing world.
As a creative force behind the short film "Fitting Descriptions," Tiffany has made a significant impact in the film festival circuit. The film, written by Dave Reidy, has won several awards, including the Silver for Best Short Script in the Hollywood Independent Shorts Awards and the Best 1st Time Screenwriter (Short) in the New York International Film Awards. Additionally, it has been nominated for several other prestigious awards, solidifying its reputation as a standout in the industry.
"Fitting Descriptions" is just the beginning of Tiffany's vision to tell stories about the underrepresented Deaf and CODA citizens in the US. Beyond the more mainstream portrayals of Deaf heroes, Tiffany is eager to explore the complexities and nuances of Deaf antiheroes and villains, shedding light on the often-overlooked dark underbelly of this community.
Tiffany's acting credits include the lead role of Tessa Greenwood in "Good Guy with a Gun," which premiered at the Dances With Films NY festival in winter 2022 and will be showcased in Seattle, Edinburgh, and Buenos Aires later this year.
With her theatre training and Chicago-based roots, Tiffany has had a prolific career on stage, earning a Jeff Award nomination for her performance in "Yen" at Raven Theatre. Her extensive experience has taken her to Moscow, Athens, and the United States, where she has performed at various esteemed venues, including the Goodman, Writers, Victory Gardens, Raven, Trap Door, and Meadow Brook theaters. Some of her notable stage roles include May in "Fool For Love" and Phèdre in Trap Door Theatre's critically acclaimed production of "Phèdre."
Tiffany's ultimate goal is to create film and television roles that capture the gritty, dark, and terrifying characters that thrive on the Chicago Storefront experimental stages, like Trap Door Theatre, where she is a proud artist-in-residence.
