Tim Kubart's passion for children's music originated while volunteering at an NYC homeless shelter for women and children during his college years.
He won the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Children's Album for his independently released album "Home", his fifth album for families.
As a Host/Writer/Producer of the Emmy Nominated "Sunny Side Up" morning show on NBCUniversal's Sprout Channel, Tim logged over 400 hours of live on-air television experience and wrote original content, including songs and sketches, alongside special guests such as Julie Andrews, Pentatonix, and First Lady Michelle Obama.
Tim has also appeared on NBC's "The More You Know" PSA campaign and has millions of views on his Sunny Side Up videos on YouTube.
As Music Director for Sprout House's development and launch, Tim was responsible for music videos on "Sprout House" and UniversalKids.
As a Songwriter/Composer, Tim has worked on music for other children's properties, including "Sesame Street", composing songs such as "We Can All Be Friends" and "C is for Cloud", a duet between Elmo and Ellie Goulding.
Tim has performed thousands of times in various venues, including at capacity shows at The Kennedy Center, Brooklyn Bowl, and The Smithsonian, and has headlined spots on the family stages of Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.
