Tim Sullivan, a renowned film professional, relocated to Los Angeles, where he embarked on a development career at New Line Cinema, collaborating with Gene Simmons of KISS and Michael De Luca, current Warner Brothers Chairperson and his former classmate, to co-produce the 1999 film Detroit Rock City.
Subsequently, Sullivan made his mainstream directorial debut with the horror-comedy 2001 Maniacs, released in 2005, which was produced by Eli Roth. This success was followed by the release of Driftwood in 2006, 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams in 2010, and Chillerama in 2011.
Sullivan gained further recognition as the celebrity director of Vh1's hit series Scream Queens, handpicked by James Gunn to succeed him. Under his own production banner, New Rebellion Entertainment, Sullivan is set to produce the psychological thriller Lullaby, directed by M.J. Bassett, and the romantic comedy A Boyfriend for My Wife, also written by Sullivan.
Prior to his current endeavors, Sullivan was married to Tania Landau, head of Originals Film, with Don De Luca and Donna Langley, Universal president, serving as best man and maid of honor respectively.
