Tim Ware was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was fortunate to have a loving and supportive family throughout his childhood. His parents, Barney and Martha Ware, played a significant role in his life, providing opportunities for him to grow and develop his skills. With their guidance, Tim was able to take advantage of numerous unique experiences, including learning to fly at the age of 13 and working as a crop duster by the time he was 15.
As a teenager, Tim's entrepreneurial spirit was evident, as he started his own crop dusting business, Mid-Georgia Crop Dusters, with the financial support of a family member. The company operated successfully for 30 years, showcasing Tim's business acumen and dedication.
Academically, Tim attended Marist School in Atlanta before going on to study at Duke University on a tennis scholarship. He double-majored in drama and finance, demonstrating his versatility and passion for multiple fields. After graduating, Tim served in the Marines, followed by a stint working for his great uncle's business interests in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Tim's experiences abroad not only broadened his horizons but also taught him valuable lessons about the importance of hard work and perseverance. He eventually transitioned to a career as a firefighter for the City of Decatur, Georgia, while continuing to pursue his passion for acting. Twice a month, he would travel to New York to study under the renowned acting coach, Uta Hagen, further honing his craft.
Tim's breakthrough in acting came during a performance of God's Favorite, when he was spotted by an agent and signed on the spot. He landed a role on his first audition and joined the Screen Actors Guild, marking the beginning of a successful acting career. Over the past 30 years, Tim has appeared in over 60 films and television shows, including recurring roles on CBS' Reckless and the Sundance Channel's Rectify.
In his personal life, Tim is married to his wife, Dee, and they have twin daughters, a stepdaughter, and a son. They are also proud grandparents of five blue ribbon, prize-winning grandchildren. Throughout his life, Tim has been fortunate to have had the support of his family, which has enabled him to pursue his passions and achieve his goals.
