Tina Grimm, born Christina Marie Grimm, is a true embodiment of resilience and determination. Despite being born with several medical problems, including severe hip dysplasia, which left her confined to a brace for the first two years of her life, and doctors' fears that she would never walk properly, Tina never gave up. Through her unrelenting strength and perseverance, she not only healed perfectly but also became an avid runner and walked the runway in various fashion shows. Her adventurous spirit also led her to venture into the wilderness, exploring the great outdoors whenever possible.
Growing up, Tina had a passion for the arts. She was known for putting on one-act plays for an audience of stuffed animals and organizing neighborhood fashion shows, showcasing her creativity and imagination. Her artistic talent was evident from an early age, earning her the nickname "doodler" in school, where she would constantly draw on book covers and assignments.
After graduating high school with honors, Tina received a scholarship to attend the Columbus College of Art and Design, where she studied film and animation. However, during her third semester, she realized that something was missing, and she missed her entertainer side. In 2002, Tina withdrew from college and started modeling, being represented by several agencies throughout Ohio and Chicago.
Tina's breakthrough came in 2009 when she made her acting debut as the female lead in the independent film "Never Escape." Her outstanding performance launched her into the Cleveland film scene and left her in high demand for several features, shorts, commercials, and music videos. She also starred in "Killerdate.com," which won the Cleveland Plain Dealer's 30 Second Horror Film contest in 2009. In 2012, Tina won Best Supporting Actress for her role in the short film "Detour" in Cleveland's 48 Hour Film Festival. Her impressive performances have also earned her roles in feature films, such as "Joe's War," starring Ed Asner and Armand Assante, and music videos, including "Believe" by City Under Siege, which aired on MTVu and the Fuse network.
