Christina Marie Tanzer, a talented individual with a passion for acting, began her journey at the prestigious Stella Adler Studio of Acting in Los Angeles. With a background in dance from a young age, Tanzer's interest in acting only grew stronger as she honed her skills under the guidance of renowned coaches, including Joe Reitman.
Originally from New Jersey, Tanzer was surrounded by the vibrant energy of New York City, where her dreams of becoming a successful actress seemed within reach. The city's iconic Broadway scene and its rich history of theatrical productions undoubtedly had a profound impact on her development as an artist.
Tanzer's early stage appearances in plays such as "Golden Boy", "Children's Hour", and "Closer" marked the beginning of her impressive career. Her exceptional skills in mastering New York, Russian, and Italian dialects allowed her to transition seamlessly into the indie film world, where she has appeared in films like "Bag Boy Lover Boy" and "Day 2 Battle NY".
In addition to her extensive training in acting, Tanzer has also honed her skills in improvisation through the UCB Improv course. Her commercial readiness was further demonstrated through her recent work on a promotional ad for HIV awareness, featuring prominent spokes person Carmen Carrera.
Tanzer's ultimate goal is to bring authenticity to her performances by drawing inspiration from the works of writers and artists she admires. Recently, she produced and acted in a short film called "Vicky & Jonny", which was loosely based on her own life experiences. The film premiered at the Cannes Short Film Corner in May 2015 and will also be competing at the Big Apple Film Festival on November 7th, 2015.
