Person Biography:
Born on August 9, 1968, at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, Northern Ireland, he spent his early years in the city before moving to England to pursue his acting career.
He began his education at Park Lodge, a Christian Brothers school, followed by attendance at St Malachy's College, a prestigious secondary school in Belfast.
In 1986, he joined the Royal Marines, where he spent 29 years serving globally in various operational environments. This period of his life had a profound impact on his personal growth and development.
After leaving the Royal Marines, he decided to pursue a career in acting. He enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Acting at Plymouth Marjon University, where he studied with The Actor's Wheel Company.
His first theatre performance was in a production of "Boots at the Door" at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth, where he played the role of Donny. This was followed by a production of "18" at TR2, a dynamic promenade play that received critical acclaim for its originality and spirit.
Internationally, he appeared in "Blindsighted: a response to Oedipus," a conceptual adaptation of Sophocles' and Seneca's Oedipus plays. The production was well-received and culminated in a final performance at The Barbican Theatre in Plymouth.
He has also performed regularly with The Actor's Wheel Company, appearing in numerous productions, including Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale," where he played the role of Antigonus. This production received acclaim from local and national media.
In addition to his work in theatre, he has also acted for camera, being directed by innovative new local directors. His film credits include supporting roles in major movies such as "Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle" and "Ready Player One."
He has also appeared in several television series, including "Guerrilla" on Sky and "Electric Dreams" on Amazon-Channel 4.
In his spare time, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including sailing, climbing, kayaking, and skiing. He also values family time, recognizing that it is an essential part of life.
