Tod Griffin

Tod Griffin, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, received his education in his hometown before embarking on a distinguished career. During World War II, he served as a bomber pilot, completing an impressive 40 missions. Following the war, Griffin endeavored to become an airline pilot, but unfortunately, this endeavor was unsuccessful. Undeterred, he shifted his focus to the performing arts, enrolling in New York's prestigious Theater School of Dramatic Arts for a period of two years. Griffin's early acting experiences were marked by his membership in the resident cast of the Red Barn Theater, a summer stock company based in Westborough, Massachusetts. This foundation laid the groundwork for his subsequent television work on both coasts, as well as his appearances in a select number of Hollywood film roles. Ultimately, Griffin made the decision to trade in his acting career for a career in industrial real estate. He retired in 1983 and later became a widower in 1997. Tod Griffin's life came to a close in 2002.
