Todd Wilderman, born on June 9, 1973, in New Jersey, has accumulated an impressive 29 years of experience in the animation industry. His remarkable career began as an animator and development artist at Sony, where he worked on a plethora of films, including Stuart Little 1 & 2, Harry Potter, and Open Season. Throughout his tenure at Sony, Todd dedicated himself to crafting the characters' personalities and designs, showcasing his exceptional skill and attention to detail.
As Animation Supervisor, Todd's distinctive approach to character development led him to focus on story, ultimately co-directing Open Season 2, which garnered a nomination for an Annie Award and earned him a spot as one of Animation Magazine's Rising Stars of Animation. Following this achievement, Todd spent eight years at Dreamworks Animation, contributing to several films, including The Croods, Home, and Trolls, as Head of Story.
In addition to his work at Dreamworks, Todd also directed the short film Almost Home, featuring Steve Martin, and co-directed Dreamworks Animation's Abominable. Currently, Todd is directing an upcoming project at Warner Bros. Pictures Animation alongside Jill Culton.
