Biography

Tom Brady, a renowned figure in the world of entertainment, hails from the vibrant streets of Jersey, where his early life laid the foundation for his future success. His impressive writing skills earned him a prestigious scholarship to Harvard College, where he continued to hone his craft under the guidance of esteemed mentors such as Joe Chaikin, Sam Shepard, and David Mamet.

At Harvard, Brady's passion for acting and directing led him to participate in numerous theater productions, both on and off stage. His experience in the spotlight was further amplified by his lead role opposite Amy Brenneman, where the two actors stripped naked and engaged in a unique ice cream and sprinkle-covered scene, solidifying Brady's determination to pursue a career in show business.

After completing his undergraduate degree, Brady continued his education at the University of Hawaii, where he earned an MFA in Directing and developed a minor in big waves. During his time in the islands, he directed professionally, wrote and directed his own original work, and even landed a featured role in the CBS drama "Tour Of Duty."

Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Brady worked as an Assistant Director at the Mark Taper Forum's Mainstage and New Work Festival, directed at various playhouses around Hollywood, and co-directed a national tour showcasing the talents of children with disabilities and from impoverished backgrounds.

As a writer, Brady's work was discovered by Al Jean and Mike Reiss, leading to collaborations on television shows such as "The Simpsons," "The Critic," "Home Improvement," "Men Behaving Badly," "Sports Night," "Good Vibes," and "Chozen." His feature film credits as a writer and/or director include "The Animal," "The Hot Chick," "The Comebacks," and "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star."

In addition to his work in film and television, Brady has also expanded his creative endeavors to include executive producing. He was involved in the production of the award-winning documentary "Mr. Fish: Cartooning from the Deep End" and the romantic thriller "Frank and Penelope." Most recently, Brady produced the American period piece "Long Shadows" and executive produced "The Assessment" for Tiki Tane Pictures.
