Toms Liepajnieks, a multilingual actor, was born in Tukums, Latvia, and later moved to Riga, Latvia, to pursue his passion for acting at the Latvian Academy of Culture, graduating in 2011. He then expanded his skills by attending a masterclass at "Method Acting Classes" in London, UK, under the guidance of Sam Rumbelow.
In 2016 and 2017, Toms traveled to Los Angeles, USA, to further hone his craft at "Studio4 James Franco's Acting and Film School". He currently resides in Riga, Latvia, and is fluent in English and Latvian, with a basic understanding of the Russian language.
Throughout his career, Toms has received several nominations and awards. In 2012, he was nominated for Best Young Actor at the Latvian Theatre Awards. Two years later, he won the Best Actor award at the Latvian Theatre Festival "The Patriarch's Autumn" for his outstanding performance.
Toms has appeared in various film and television productions. In 2017, he played the role of Young Father Joseph in the American feature film "Welcome to Mercy", set in a 19th-century castle on the border of Latvia and Estonia. The film was directed by Tommy Bertelsen and produced by Carry Granat, Daren Goldberg.
In 2016, Toms took on the supporting role of Irving Berlin in the American feature film "Paris Song" (aka "Amre"),directed by Jeff Vespa and filmed in America, Latvia, and Kazakhstan.
His other notable roles include Kaspars in the Latvian TV series "House near the lake", directed by Armands Zvirbulis, Kaspars in the Latvian Feature Film "Exiled", directed by Davis Simanis Jr., and Lars Hendrickson in the Russian TV-series "Endless Summer", directed by Valentina Vlasova.
In 2015, Toms appeared in several Russian productions, including the feature film "Viking", directed by Andrey Kravchuk, and the TV-series "Ded 005" and "Quest", both directed by Mher Mkrtchyan and Aleksandr Danilov, respectively.
