Tom Waite, a native of Florida, had his life altered at a young age when the James Bond thriller "Moonraker" was filmed in his backyard, specifically along the river that bordered his property. This experience sparked an early passion for acting within him, and he soon began pursuing his dream by participating in his first play during the 6th grade.
Throughout his academic career, Tom continued to nurture his acting abilities, graduating from college with a Bachelor of Science degree in Theater Arts. Following his graduation, he auditioned for a theater company and went on to perform in over 500 productions of "The Toymakers Dream" across 22 countries, including performances at the 1992 World's Fair and the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.
As a member of the Screen Actors Guild, Tom secured roles in various commercials, such as those for the Daytona 500, Chevy Truck, and Office Depot. He subsequently landed acting parts in notable television shows, including "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "ALIAS," "Chuck," "Castle," and "SuperGirl," working under the direction of renowned filmmakers J.J. Abrams, Ken Olin, and others.
Tom has also honed his craft through studies with esteemed acting coaches Larry Moss, Diane Venora, and Tim Philips. His impressive film credits include appearances in "The Amazing Spider-Man," "Ride Along," "Rage," and "All Nighter" (2017).
Throughout his career, Tom has had the opportunity to act alongside prominent actors such as Bradley Cooper, Nicolas Cage, Andrew Garfield, and J.K. Simmons, a testament to his dedication and hard work in the entertainment industry.
