Tony Gardner is a renowned American makeup designer, special effects designer, and puppeteer, whose impressive career has spanned numerous feature films, including the critically acclaimed titles Zombieland, 127 Hours, Smokin' Aces, Hairspray, Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, The Addams Family, Seed of Chucky, Shallow Hal, and There's Something About Mary, to name a few.
In addition to his work in the film industry, Gardner has also ventured into the world of music, collaborating with the iconic French electronic duo Daft Punk. He played a crucial role in designing the distinctive helmets worn by the duo, as well as creating an animatronic robot for their groundbreaking music video "Technologic". Furthermore, Gardner wrote and directed the music video for Daft Punk's song "The Prime Time of Your Life" and served as an associate producer on their feature-length directorial debut, Daft Punk's Electroma, which showcased a world populated by robots.
