Tony Tang Tung-Ming is a Hong Kong film director and producer with a rich and varied career spanning multiple decades.
After completing Form 5 in 1988, Tang Tung-Ming ventured into the professional world by securing employment with an advertising company, where he had the opportunity to develop his skills in computer 3D graphics.
Fast-forwarding to 1992, Tang Tung-Ming took the bold step of opening his own advertising company, marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey.
In 1998, he founded Imagi Animation Studio (意馬動畫工作室),with the primary goal of producing high-quality advertising animations. This venture proved to be a resounding success, as the studio was subsequently acquired by the prestigious Baotu Group (寶途集團) in the year 2000.
As a result of the acquisition, Tang Tung-Ming was appointed to the position of operations director, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the studio.
In 2002, he made his mark on the world of animation by producing the animated series Time and Space Adventure (時空冒險記),a testament to his creative prowess.
However, his tenure at Imagi Animation Studio came to an end in 2005, when he decided to leave the company and pursue new opportunities.
Undeterred, Tang Tung-Ming went on to establish the film company T-Films in 2007, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his illustrious career.
In a bold move, he invested in his directional debut, the 3D animated feature film Gobi: Christmas City 3D (反鬥高比玩轉聖誕城3D),cementing his status as a visionary and innovative filmmaker.
