Person Biography:
Born and raised in the countryside, approximately 16 miles southeast of Seguin, Texas, a charming town of nearly 20,000 people, situated 50 miles east of San Antonio. Growing up, Trant's creative spark was ignited in second grade during "Show and Tell," where he would craft imaginative stories to share with his classmates. This early introduction to storytelling laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
In third grade, Trant showcased his multifaceted talents by co-writing, directing, producing, and starring in a play, "The Wizards Pumpkins," for the annual Halloween Talent Show at Mary B. Erskine Elementary School. This morality play, which cautioned against the consequences of stealing, won third place and demonstrated Trant's early aptitude for the performing arts.
Trant's passion for theatre continued to flourish throughout his high school years, ultimately leading him to pursue higher education in the field. He majored in Theatre Arts at Southwest Texas State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Arts and a teaching certification. During his time at the university, Trant also earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, showcasing his versatility and aptitude for both artistic and technical pursuits.
Following his academic achievements, Trant began his professional acting career in Austin in 1988. For the past twelve years, he has been actively working in the Austin area, primarily in independent features, theatre, student films, and commercials.
