Person Biography:
Travina Springer is a rising actress in the entertainment industry, known for her versatility and talent. Born in Oviedo, Florida, Travina spent most of her childhood there before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She attended Florida State University, where she majored in Communication Studies and discovered her passion for acting through theater and film classes.
As a performer, Travina has appeared in a range of projects, including the CBS series "Life in Pieces," Paramount+'s "Strange Angel," and the Clint Eastwood-helmed feature film "The Mule." She has also been a part of the UCB Comedy community, performing on the Maude team and Mama at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
Travina is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and has volunteered and worked as an ASL interpreter. She has also been involved with the Los Angeles-based non-profit arts organization Deaf West Theatre, performing in their Equity regional tour for children titled "Shel Stories."
In addition to her acting career, Travina is an active supporter of the organization Vigilant Love, which creates spaces for connection and grassroots movement to protect the safety and justice of communities impacted by Islamophobia and violence. She is also a convert to Islam, like her character in "Ms. Marvel," and found that through their shared experiences, she connected with the role on a very organic level.
When Travina is not on set, she enjoys baking for her friends, spending time at the beach, and searching for the best vegan donuts in LA.
