Travis Patrick McElroy, an American podcaster, writer, and comedian, was born in 1983 in Huntington, West Virginia, US. He is the second child of radio host Clint McElroy and his wife Leslie, with older brother Justin McElroy and younger brother Griffin McElroy.
Growing up, Travis studied acting at the University of Oklahoma. Prior to his career in entertainment, he worked as a technical director at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company from 2009 to 2014.
In 2010, Travis and his brothers launched the comedy advice show My Brother, My Brother and Me, which quickly gained popularity and praise. The show's success led to the creation of another popular podcast, The Adventure Zone, which Travis co-hosts with his brothers and father since 2014.
In addition to his work on My Brother, My Brother and Me and The Adventure Zone, Travis has been involved with several other podcasts, including Can I Pet Your Dog?, a show focused on dog lovers, which he co-hosts with Allegra Ringo and Renee Colvert, and Shmanners, a podcast exploring the history of etiquette, which he hosts with his wife Teresa.
As a voice actor, Travis has appeared in various animated productions from time to time. In his personal life, Travis has been married to Teresa McElroy since 2013 and they have two children, Barbara Lee McElroy and Dorothy McElroy.
