Travis Quentin Young's journey began on the bayou in Westlake, Louisiana, where he was born and raised. His early start in the entertainment industry came at the tender age of 10, when he made his television debut on Ed McMahon's Star Search, showcasing his country music talents in 1983. This marked the beginning of his career, which would eventually take him to the stages of Louisiana's theaters, where he honed his acting skills in a one-man show.
After formally studying music and theater at Berklee College of Music and McNeese State University, Travis made the bold move to Los Angeles. His big break came when he was cast in the short film The Replacement Child (2007),which earned him prestigious awards at the Winnipeg International Film Festival and the Barbados International Film Festival, including Outstanding Performance by an Actor and Best Actor.
Travis's exceptional voice talent soon landed him a spot in one of the toughest loop groups in town, where he has recorded over 25 features, including the critically acclaimed films There Will Be Blood (2007),No Country for Old Men (2007),and Happy Feet (2006).
Continuing his impressive on-camera work, Travis has appeared in numerous television series and films, such as The Automatic Hate (2015),ABC Family's Teen Spirit (2011),Devious Maids (2013) on Lifetime, and HBO's Vinyl (2016).
