Tyler Capri Clark, a Boston native of Black American and West Indian/Caribbean descent, embarked on a journey of dance at a young age, receiving formal training from esteemed institutions such as the Boston Ballet and Boston Youth Moves Dance Company.
This rigorous training enabled her to secure a BFA dance scholarship at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where she further honed her craft. However, her exceptional talent and dedication did not go unnoticed, as she was subsequently awarded a full merit scholarship to The Ailey School, a renowned institution for dance education.
Prior to transitioning to the world of acting, Tyler pursued a career in modeling, garnering significant exposure in Boston, which ultimately led to her landing a principal role as a "Dancer" in the 2013 film The Heat, starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy.
Throughout her career, Tyler has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, fueled by her passion for the arts and her desire to connect with audiences on a meaningful level. Her versatility has allowed her to excel in all three genres of dance, and she has made the transition to Los Angeles to pursue acting, modeling, and dance opportunities.
Tyler's impressive resume boasts co-starring roles in several notable productions, including the Lifetime TV movie My Christmas Prince, the CBS series S.W.A.T., and the Showtime series The Affair.
