Urmas Eero Liiv, a renowned Estonian film and television director, made his entrance into the world on November 17, 1966, in the picturesque town of Tõstamaa, situated in the charming Pärnu County.
Throughout his illustrious career, Liiv has held esteemed positions, with a notable tenure spanning from 2001 to 2012 as the creative leader, or loovjuht in Estonian, of the prominent television channel Kanal 2.
Fast-forward to the present, and Liiv has assumed the role of creative leader, overseeing the television channels under the umbrella of TV3, a position he has held since 2021.
