Biography

Vahid Rad, a renowned Iranian actor, entered the world on March 3, 1987, in the city of Doroud, Iran. His foray into the world of acting began in 2005, when he took to the stage, showcasing his remarkable versatility by taking on diverse roles in various theatre productions.

As a scholar, Vahid holds a bachelor's degree in acting from Tehran's Art and Architecture Azad University, in addition to a master's degree in directing from the same esteemed institution. His linguistic abilities are equally impressive, as he is fluent in Farsi, Luri, and English, making him a valuable asset in the world of international cinema.

Vahid's unique talent extends beyond his linguistic abilities, as he is also a skilled player of the Kemenche, a traditional Iranian stringed instrument. His impressive range of skills has enabled him to transition seamlessly from the world of theatre to that of cinema.

Vahid's cinematic debut was marked by his role in the film Tamaroz/ Simulation, directed by the acclaimed Abed Abest, which premiered at the prestigious Berlinale festival in 2017.
