Originally from Toronto, Canada, Vanessa made the bold decision to relocate to New York City at the tender age of five, marking the beginning of a life-changing journey that would shape her future in the world of performing arts. This pivotal move led her to commence ballet classes at the prestigious Carnegie Hall, which ultimately paved the way for her to study at the renowned Joffrey Ballet School. As she grew and developed her skills, Vanessa began to explore the world of improvisation at Herbert Berghof Studios, where she had the opportunity to perform in several stage productions and even starred alongside the accomplished Lindsay Crouse in the production of Far Off Sweet Forever. By the age of 10, Vanessa had already begun to make a name for herself in the industry, and her hard work and dedication were rewarded when she graduated from Professional Children's School at the age of 17. Following her graduation, Vanessa went on to secure small roles in films such as Ghostbusters, Moscow on the Hudson, and Hardhat and Legs, before making the bold decision to relocate to Puerto Rico to take on the principal role in the production of Scandalous.
After a well-deserved hiatus to focus on raising her daughter, Vanessa relocated to Atlanta and quickly resumed her acting career, taking on a wide range of roles in film, television, and new media. Her impressive resume includes credits in "Hard Medicine", "Your Worst Nightmare", "#FollowFriday", and the horror prequel "Expulsion". Most recently, Vanessa has ventured into the world of production, serving as the creative force behind the promo for the film "Consequences", starring the talented Mindy Cohn, and is set to make her feature film debut in the same project, this time taking on a starring role in front of the camera.
