Victoria's journey in the entertainment industry began at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama, where she honed her craft before making a name for herself on television. Her breakthrough role came as Agnes Clarke in the BBC's period drama The House of Elliott, a production created by the acclaimed duo Jean Marsh and Eileen Atkins.
As a talented and versatile actress, Victoria has had the opportunity to portray a wide range of characters. Many fans will recognize her as Julie Saunders, the lead regular in all eight series of ITV's hit prison drama Bad Girls. She has also made recurring appearances as Carol, the mother of the lovable but mischievous Michie, in the BAFTA-winning BBC sitcom People Just Do Nothing.
Victoria's impressive resume includes appearances in a variety of popular shows. She has played alongside David Tennant in Doctor Who, joining him in a parallel universe adventure. She has also sparred with the Chigwell girls in Birds of a Feather and caused chaos on Albert Square as Lorraine Salter in EastEnders.
In addition to her work on television, Victoria has also made a name for herself in the world of theatre. She has traveled with the renowned playwright Caryl Churchill and helped to devise the play Mad Forest, which premiered at the National Theatre. The production went on to be performed in Bucharest, under armed guard, and later at the Royal Court.
Victoria has also had the opportunity to tour throughout New Zealand and has performed at a variety of esteemed theatres, including Theatre Royal Stratford East, Hampstead Theatre, and the New Wolsey Ipswich. Alongside her own acting career, Victoria is dedicated to helping young actors prepare for the industry and providing them with weekly screen acting classes through her successful company Acting Up! with Vicky Alcock.
