Victoria Guthrie was born in Lansing, Michigan, to Connie Malkin, a homemaker, and Tom Guthrie, a master plumber and licensed builder. From a young age, she embarked on a professional journey as a model at 12, walking the runway for local fashion shows and print ads. At 18, she relocated to New York City, adopting the professional name Victoria Guthrie.
In the Big Apple, Victoria continued to model while studying fashion design at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology. Her successful modeling career took her abroad to Paris, Barcelona, Athens, and Vienna, but she eventually grew tired of the nomadic lifestyle and lack of intellectual stimulation. So, she returned to New York City to pursue a degree in Law and Economics at New York University.
Despite her creative inclinations, Victoria's intellectual pursuits continued to evolve. She discovered an acting class, which she describes as "therapy for me." There, she honed her craft through studies in Meisner Technique, The Method, On-Camera, Clown/Mask, Body Dynamics, and Voice.
As an actress, Victoria often takes on strong, alluring roles on stage and screen. Some of her notable credits include Truvy in "Steel Magnolias" with "The Snarks" in New York City and Virginia Noyes in "It's Only A Play" at the historic American Conservatory Theater, the oldest operating theater in the country. Her film work has earned her multiple wins and nominations from prestigious festivals such as the London International Film Festival, Indie Series Awards, and Brightside Film Festival.
Victoria's competitive nature has also driven her to excel in various other pursuits. She is an accomplished competitive ballroom dancer, dressage rider, and bikini athlete. Additionally, she possesses a keen business sense and has achieved success as a real estate entrepreneur.
