Victoria Pedretti was born on March 23, 1995, in Pennsylvania. Her father has Italian descent, and her maternal grandmother was Ashkenazi Jewish. Pedretti attended Pennsbury High School and the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting in 2017.
Pedretti's early career saw her portray Eleanor "Nell" Crain Vance in the Netflix horror series The Haunting of Hill House in 2018. The following year, she appeared as Leslie Van Houten, also known as Lulu, in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Additionally, Pedretti played the role of Love Quinn in the second season of the Netflix thriller series You, which premiered on December 26, 2019. She will reprise her role for the third season, set to release in 2021.
In 2020, Pedretti guest-starred in the anthology series Amazing Stories as Evelyn Porter. She also starred as Katherine in the biographical-drama film Shirley, which received positive reviews from critics. Furthermore, Pedretti portrayed Danielle "Dani" Clayton on the Netflix series The Haunting of Bly Manor, the second season in the anthology series following The Haunting of Hill House.
