Vytautas Sapranauskas, a renowned Lithuanian comedian, actor, and television host, was born on April 19, 1958. He graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 1980, and his illustrious career spanned over three decades.
Initially, Vytautas was affiliated with the Russian Drama Theatre from 1980 to 1990, before joining the Vilnius Small Theatre in 1990. Later, he became a part of the Domino theater in Vilnius, where he continued to hone his craft.
Throughout his career, Vytautas acted in numerous films and theater plays, both during the Soviet era and in independent Lithuania. His versatility as an actor allowed him to excel in various genres, including comedy and drama.
Apart from his acting endeavors, Vytautas was also the founder of the popular comedy project "Humor Club" ("Humoro klubas"),which toured extensively throughout Lithuania. Additionally, he lent his voice to several animated films, including "Ratatouille" (2007),"Ice Age III", "Garfield", and "Racing Stripes" (2005),among many others.
Vytautas was also a prominent figure in the fashion world, serving as the face of the men's fashion brand Pierre Cardin in Lithuania.
Tragically, Vytautas Sapranauskas took his own life just before his 55th birthday, leaving the entire nation in shock. His unexpected passing was a devastating blow to his fans and the entertainment industry, as he was widely regarded as one of the most successful and respected actors and comedians in Lithuania.
