Wayne Baker, a proud member of the Squamish Nation and a descendant of the raven clan, spent his formative years on the north shore of West Vancouver, British Columbia. He has since relocated to Akwesasne, Quebec, a unique community situated along the Canada-US border.
In addition to his successful acting career, which has spanned both the big screen and television, Wayne Baker has also hosted his own show, "Closer to Home," which aired on APTN for three seasons.
A lifelong enthusiast of lacrosse, Wayne has accumulated an impressive collection of championships, including four prestigious Presidents Cup Rings. This remarkable achievement is a testament to his dedication and passion for the sport.
Wayne is happily married to Marlana Thompson Baker, a member of the Mohawk Nation, and together they have seven children.
