Biography

Elmer Wayne Henley Jr., a convicted American serial killer and painter, has been incarcerated within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system since his conviction in 1974. This conviction stemmed from his involvement in a series of heinous murders, commonly referred to as the Houston Mass Murders, which took place between 1970 and 1973. During this period, a minimum of 28 teenage boys and young men were abducted, subjected to torture, raped, and ultimately murdered by Dean Corll.

As a key participant in these atrocities, Henley, who was only 17 years old at the time, along with his accomplices, including David Owen Brooks, played a significant role in luring many of the victims to Corll's residence. Henley's involvement in these crimes would ultimately lead to his downfall, as he shot and killed Corll on August 8, 1973.

Born on May 9, 1956, Henley's life has been forever marred by his involvement in these horrific events. As a result, he remains incarcerated to this day, a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of his actions.
