Wayne Mark Rooney, a renowned English professional footballer, was born on October 24, 1985, in Croxteth, Merseyside. He rose to fame as a talented young player, particularly for his performances with Manchester United, Everton, and the England national team.
Rooney's footballing journey began at his boyhood club, Everton, where he was scouted as a child and joined the youth team. He quickly rose through the ranks, making his senior team debut at just 16 years old in August 2002 against Tottenham Hotspur. His impressive performance against Arsenal at Goodison Park, where he scored a stunning winner to beat the then-unbeaten record of Arsenal's 30-matches, earned him widespread recognition.
