Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Miller's early life was marked by athletic prowess, earning him All Conference honors as a cornerback at Lambuth University, now the University of Memphis-Lambuth.
Following his collegiate athletic career, Miller pursued a law degree, graduating at the top of his class. He later worked as a civil rights trial lawyer, eventually leaving the legal profession in 2015 to devote himself fully to honing his skills as a visual storyteller. His 2016 film, "Prayer Never Fails," garnered critical acclaim, earning nominations at several festivals, including the Long Beach International Film Festival.
Miller's subsequent releases, "River Runs Red" (2018) and "Hell on the Border" (2019),solidified his reputation as a masterful filmmaker.
