William Byron Hillman's journey began in the vibrant cities of Chicago, Denver, and Oklahoma City, where he was raised and nurtured. His early life took him to the Oklahoma Military Academy and the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),where he refined his skills and laid the groundwork for his future endeavors.
As an actor, Hillman made his Hollywood debut in the iconic 1968 film "Ice Station Zebra," alongside the legendary Rock Hudson and Ernest Borgnine. He continued to hone his craft, making appearances in the beloved TV series "Bewitched" (1964) and the popular soap opera "Days of Our Lives" (1965).
However, Hillman's true passion lay behind the camera. He transitioned seamlessly into filmmaking, becoming a multifaceted creative force. With an impressive résumé boasting 14 feature films, numerous TV commercials, several music videos, and 32 sold screenplays, over half of which have been produced, Hillman has cemented his status as a complete filmmaker.
In addition to his impressive body of work, Hillman has developed four TV series, directed two series pilots, and brought his unique vision to life through the award-winning feature documentary "Money."
