In 2011, Davenport directed the feature documentary "Too Sane for This World", which delves into the experiences of 12 adults on the autism spectrum. The film features an introduction by renowned autism advocate Dr. Temple Grandin.
Building on his success, Davenport went on to direct the feature documentary "Citizen Autistic" in 2013. This film sheds light on the autistic civil rights movement, showcasing the struggles and triumphs of autistic activists and self-advocates.
In addition to his work in documentary filmmaking, Davenport is also a musician and publisher. He is the founding member of the experimental/noise band Problemist and the publisher of Unsound magazine.
