William Joseph Hill Jr. was born in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, a namesake of his father, a U.S. Navy Officer. His early life was marked by a series of moves, as his family was stationed in various locations, including San Diego and Hawaii's Pearl Harbor, where they resided on historic Ford Island.
Growing up in Hawaii had a profound impact on William's life, as he began his lifelong journey in the martial arts at a young age. He holds a second-degree black belt in Okinawan Kenpo Karate, a testament to his dedication and perseverance.
As he entered his teenage years, William's passion for filmmaking began to take shape. He started making short films in his backyard, which, given his tropical surroundings, offered a unique and idyllic setting. This early experimentation laid the foundation for his future endeavors in the film industry.
After relocating to Hollywood, William began landing roles in various projects, including independent and short films, television shows, and theater productions. It was during this time that he met his wife, Pamela Hill, a talented actress who would become his partner both on and off screen.
Together, the couple appeared in the acclaimed Showtime series "Penn & Teller's", playing the roles of the "Bottled Water Couple". William also gained recognition for his appearances on ABC's "Wipeout", showcasing his versatility as a performer.
His dramatic turns in films such as "Eskimo" and "Crisis Management" demonstrated his range as an actor, while his role as the mutant Littles in the science fiction action film "The Last Girl" earned him critical acclaim. The film won the audience favorite award at the Action on Film Festival, further solidifying his reputation as a talented performer.
William's work in the theater was also noteworthy, particularly his eight-character portrayal in the L.A. Times' Critics' Pick "The Unsinkable Bismarck".
In addition to his acting career, William is a published author. His debut novel, "Cyber Fighter", is a martial arts/sci-fi action adventure with a comedic twist. The book is available on Amazon, and he is currently working on the audiobook version for Audible.
As a producer, William co-heads the production company "Four Scorpio Productions" with his wife Pamela. They write, produce, and star in various multimedia and web-based entertainment content on their YouTube Channel, including the web series "That Darn Girlfriend", in which William stars as boyfriend Vic. The channel has gained over 1700 subscribers.
William is currently developing the feature film adaptation of "Cyber Fighter", in which he will direct and star as the lead character, Brian Baldwin.
