William Xifaras, a Massachusetts native, was born and raised in the cities of New Bedford and Boston. His parents, Beatrice Keshian of Medford and Michael Xifaras of New Bedford, instilled in him a strong foundation for his future endeavors.
After serving a five-year sentence in the Massachusetts state prison system for Intimidation, Xifaras began his journey in film acting in 2005. He utilized his time wisely by enrolling in various classes, including improv, acting on film, character development, and scene study. Simultaneously, he dedicated his time to volunteering and speaking to at-risk youth about the importance of education and setting goals.
Throughout his career, Xifaras has landed principal roles in numerous films and television shows. These include 20th Century Fox's The Heat, Sony Pictures' The Equalizer, Universal's Ted 2, Netflix's Wheelman, Hulu's Castle Rock, Caviar's Sound of Metal, Artina Films' By the Gun, Paramount Pictures' Defending Jacob, AMC's Kevin Can F**k Himself, Showtime's Dexter, Thug, and Align's Love, Weddings, and Other Disasters. He has had the privilege of working with esteemed directors such as Morten Tyldum, Dennis Dugan, Ben Affleck, Paul Feig, Antoine Fuqua, Seth MacFarlane, Jeremy Rush, Kevin Hooks, Darius Marder, Hans Petter Moland, James Mottern, Sanford Bookstaver, and Richard Duque-Henao.

In addition to his acting career, Xifaras is dedicated to giving back to his community. Upon request, he donates his time to speak at public schools, after-school groups, and social programs aimed at helping youth in crisis. His philanthropic efforts focus on causes such as child welfare, education, homelessness, and children in foster care, which have been and continue to be, a priority for him.
