Woody was born in England, and his family relocated to Sydney, Australia when he was just 9 years old. Coming from an acting family, his grandmother was a renowned stage actress, and his grandfather, Laurence Naismith, was a celebrated English character actor, boasting an impressive filmography of over one hundred productions.
Laurence Naismith had the privilege of sharing the screen with legendary actors such as Laurence Olivier, John Gielgud, Anthony Hopkins, and Mel Brooks. After completing his Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT),Woody pursued a decade-long career as a professional actor in Sydney before making the bold move to Los Angeles in 2010.
As his momentum grew, Woody landed roles in several films, including 'The Dark Side of Venus', 'Swelter' alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme, 'Concealed', and his upcoming short film 'Either Or', which he not only starred in but also wrote and directed.
In addition to his acting endeavors, Woody founded the production company 'Lord Mayors of London', where he is currently developing another short film and a feature film.
