YVS Chowdary is a renowned director in the Telugu film industry, known for his exceptional work in films such as Devadasu and Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, which ran for an impressive 175 days or more.
Prior to his directorial debut, YVS Chowdary had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed directors like K. Raghavendra Rao, Ram Gopal Varma, Mahesh Bhatt, and Krishna Vamsi.
As a producer, YVS Chowdary has successfully launched his own production banner, Bommarillu Vaari, under which he has produced films such as Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, Devadasu, and Seetayya.
Before entering the world of cinema, YVS Chowdary was a die-hard fan of the legendary actor NTR. His film career began with a home production film titled Sri Seetharamula Kalyanam Choothamu Raarandi, starring Akkineni Nagarjuna.
Throughout his career, YVS Chowdary has introduced several talented actors who went on to become household names in the Indian film industry. His debut film featured Venkat, Chandu, and Chandni, while his fourth film introduced Aditya Om and Ankita Jhaveri. His sixth film showcased the talents of Ram and Ileana D'Cruz.
YVS Chowdary also owns a film theater named Bommarillu in Gudivada, which is inspired by his production banner, Bommarillu Vaari.
