Ylva Cecilia Waern, professionally known as CeCe, is a Swedish-born actress who has garnered widespread recognition for her work on the popular comedy platform "Almost Friday TV". In addition to her television appearances, she has also starred in several independent productions, including "The God's Pill" and "The Desert Project".
Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Ylva was the youngest of five children. Her father, a jazz musician, played a significant role in her early life, as she attended a music conservatory and studied theater. The family later relocated to the United States, where Ylva completed her high school and college education.
Throughout her career, Ylva has pursued acting training in both Sweden and Los Angeles, attending various academies and being a long-time member of Bobby Moresco's esteemed "The Actor's Gym". She has recently completed the prestigious Groundlings program, during which she has also had the opportunity to perform.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Ylva is an accomplished writer. She has recently finished her first feature film, a thriller set in the deep South, and enjoys writing comedies, short films, and skits for herself and her fellow actors. One of her notable works is the short film "Mousse Cake", which she wrote and directed, telling the story of a woman who harbors a secret crush on her gay neighbor.
Ylva is also a passionate advocate for animal welfare and an avid athlete. She was a nationally ranked junior tennis player and holds a yellow belt in Krav Maga.
