Yusry AbdulHalim Kamal Fenner, a Malaysian personality, was born on June 15th, 1973, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to AbdulHalim Kamal and Zarina Abdul Wahab Fenner. He is the second child in their family.
Yusry's educational journey began at Sri Petaling Primary School, followed by Setapak Secondary School. He then pursued his 'O' Levels in the UK and later completed his 'A' Levels at Leytonstone Sixth Form College, Leytonstone, in the UK.
In 1992, Yusry co-founded Malaysia's popular boy band, KRU, alongside his two brothers, Norman and Edry. The group gained recognition with their music and eventually ventured into the film industry. In 1995, KRU starred in the movie AWAS!, and in 1996, they appeared in Cinta Metropolitan.
Although his brothers chose not to pursue careers in the movie industry, Yusry decided to continue acting. He went on to appear in Gerak Khas the Movie II (2002) and Mr. Cinderella (2002).
In addition to his acting career, Yusry is also the founder and leader of KRU Motion Pictures, a company owned by the three brothers. He has produced and directed various television programs for Malaysian television channels.
Recently, Yusry completed the movie Cicakman, in which he played a dual role as the director and actor.
