Biography

Yvan Lucas has enjoyed a distinguished career in the film industry, marked by an impressive array of acclaimed and award-winning feature films. Throughout his illustrious tenure, he has had the privilege of collaborating with many of the world's most esteemed cinematographers and directors.

Notably, Lucas frequently works with internationally renowned cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto and has recently received top honors, including the prestigious Filmlight Colour Award for his exceptional work. Furthermore, in 2024, he was recognized with the Lumiere Award from the Advanced Imaging Society (AIS) for his outstanding use of High Dynamic Range in a feature film.

Lucas's impressive body of work includes notable projects such as Killers of the Flower Moon, The Irishman, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Django Unchained, and Inglorious Basterds. Prior to his successful tenure at EFILM (now part of Company 3),Lucas was one of the first to digitally color an entire feature film in Europe, Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Amélie, a testament to his early rise to prominence as a highly sought-after photochemical timer.
