Yvette Dudley-Neuman is a multifaceted artist, boasting a diverse repertoire of skills that span the realms of acting, singing, voice over artistry, and improvisation. Under the tutelage of the renowned Keith Johnstone at the Loose Moose Theatre Company, she honed her craft in theatre-sports and improvisation.
Yvette's journey has taken her to the farthest reaches of the globe, as she embarked on an international tour with the group "Up WithPeople" as a soloist. This two-year odyssey saw her travel to twenty-five different nations alongside two hundred and fifty fellow college students, performing a two-hour show that promoted world peace and understanding.
Upon her return, Yvette pursued higher education at the University of Calgary, where she earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Acting and Education. She went on to serve as the Artistic Director of All Nations Theatre Company for several years, before transitioning to a career as a Drama Teacher.
Despite her teaching responsibilities, Yvette remained devoted to her artistic pursuits, singing, acting, directing, and writing. Her decision to leave teaching in favor of a full-time career in the Arts led her to a three-year stint in the hit Broadway show Tony n' Tina's Wedding, where she took on the roles of Celeste Ramono, Sister Terri, Aunt Rose, and Nona Nunzio.
Beyond her acting and singing endeavors, Yvette is also a prolific writer, penning plays, poems, lyrics, and melodies. She has recorded two of her songs and is currently working on the completion of a demo album. Her creative output also extends to the realm of comedy, as she co-founded a collective and wrote the show Detention Divas, which toured extensively in Western Canada for five years.
Yvette's first solo work as a playwright, "Titillations," has been met with critical acclaim, with excerpts debuting in New York. Her film debut came in the form of a cameo appearance in Rat Race as one of the Crazy Lucys. Today, Yvette resides in the Vancouver area with her husband and two dogs, and is actively pursuing a career in film.
