Zachary Baharov is a Bulgarian actor renowned for his captivating screen presence and remarkable versatility across film, television, and stage, with a commanding presence that has earned him widespread recognition in Eastern European cinema.
He gained international acclaim for his portrayal of Loboda, a Wildling chieftain, in Season 5 of HBO's Game of Thrones, further solidifying his reputation as a talented and dynamic performer.
Throughout his illustrious career, Baharov has appeared in a diverse range of critically acclaimed productions, including leading and supporting roles in Bulgarian and international films and television series such as Slow Horses (2022),The Bureau (2017),Zift (2008),The Way Back (2010),and Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One (2023).
A graduate of the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA) in Sofia, Baharov is also an accomplished stage actor, having performed for over a decade at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, where he has taken on major roles in productions such as Don Juan, King Lear, and The Seagull.
