Biography

Zack Arnold, also known as ACE, is a multi-talented individual who has made a name for himself in the film and television industry. As a father of two, he is also the creator of the "Optimize Yourself" program, which aims to help ambitious creative professionals manage their time, energy, and attention to maximize their focus and creativity, while minimizing depression and burnout.

Zack's professional background is marked by his expertise in editing feature films, scripted dramatic television, and directing, producing, and editing documentaries. He has worked on a wide range of projects, including feature films, scripted dramatic television, and documentaries.

Born and raised in a small dairy farming community in northern Wisconsin, Zack learned the value of hard work from a young age. He graduated valedictorian from his high school class and went on to study film theory and production at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with high honors.

Zack's first job in the industry was as an assistant editor for an award-winning trailer company, where he was quickly promoted to editor. He then went on to work on the theatrical marketing campaigns for several films, including "The Passion of the Christ," "Monster," "The Machinist," "The Woodsman," "Whale Rider," "Stander," and many others.

After several years of cutting trailers, Zack realized his true passion was for scripted features and dramatic television, so he left his job to pursue his dream. He started editing independent feature films for free, and his first editing credit, "Phat Girlz," was acquired by Fox Searchlight for $4.75 million dollars.

Zack then went on to cut several other independent films while also working for several different marketing companies, where he had the opportunity to work on projects such as "The Departed," "Live Free or Die Hard," "Dreamgirls," "Entourage," "Run Lola Run," "Flyboys," and many others.

His big break came after winning several awards for editing the high-octane action web series "The Bannen Way" for Sony Pictures. He was then hired onto the hit USA Network series "Burn Notice," where he went from being a fill-in editor for one episode to being a staff editor for the last four seasons. From there, he went on to edit shows such as "Glee" and "Black Box," which led him to becoming an editor on the first two seasons of the show "Empire."

Recently, Zack completed editing season two of the hit USA show "Shooter" and is currently editing season one of the true crime drama "Unsolved," for which he also edited the pilot.
