Zachary Edward "Zack" Snyder, a multifaceted American filmmaker, was born on March 1, 1966. As a director, producer, and screenwriter, he has made a significant impact in the world of action and science fiction films. Snyder's feature film debut, the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead, marked the beginning of his illustrious career.
Since then, he has become renowned for his comic book movies and superhero films, which include the critically acclaimed 300 (2007),Watchmen (2009),Man of Steel (2013),and the highly anticipated sequel to Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
In addition to his work in film, Snyder is also the co-founder of Cruel and Unusual Films, a production company he established in 2004 alongside his wife Deborah Snyder and producing partner Wesley Coller.
