Biography of Jacqueline Fernandez:
Born to a Muslim Pathan family in the vibrant city of Mumbai, Jacqueline Fernandez's early life was marked by financial struggles that forced her to abandon her education and begin working while still in college. With no marketable skills to fall back on, she turned to modeling as a means of supporting her family.
Despite the initial challenges, Jacqueline's modeling career took off, with her landing small assignments that helped her earn a steady income and keep her family afloat. Her big break in the world of acting came when she was invited to visit the set of Yuvraaj at Subhash Ghai's prestigious film school, Whistling Woods.
It was during this visit that she caught the attention of none other than the renowned actor Salman Khan, who was so impressed with her that he decided to cast her in his film Veer. After a rigorous screen test, Jacqueline was confirmed for the role of Princess Yashodhara, a 19th century royal that required her to gain a significant eight kilos to get into character.
